Kociemba Two-Phase-Algorithm

Postby vip11 » Sun May 20, 2012 7:36 pm

Hey
I'm using the Kociemba Two-Phase-Algorithm for a Rubiks Cube solving Roboter in a school projekt.
When I start the programm on the nxt and it trys to solve the cube the output is always just "error 1", but when i try the same code on my pc its working perfektly.
is there any chance i can still use this algorithm or do i have to redo the hole projekt with another algorithm?
greetings

Well looking at the Kociemba web site it states that:
The tables in this implementation take only about 5 MB

So given that the NXT has a maximum of 64Kb it seems unlikely that this will work...

The only chance to get this working (that i see) is to calculate the movements of the cube and transferring them to the robot.
So calculate the solution on your super computer and then let the robot solve.
