Device to wirelessly communicate between Sensors and Brick

Hello,

I was searching but couldn't find the answer. I wonder if there is any kind of device attaching to the sensors so that they can wirelessly communicate with the Lego NXT Brick?

Hi I don't think there is any device that does exactly what you looking for. But one possibility is to use two NXTs one for the sensors and the other as the main device. You could then use Bluetooth to link the two, and the remote API to read the sensor values...

Thanks for your response. The reason I'm asking this is because I want to make the Motor turn forever in clockwise direction, while carrying a sensor. Since the sensor must constantly communicate with the NXT brick, the wire connected these two will be twisted badly ....

However, I've seen a guy managed to do so without any issue.

From the video, the LEDs must receive commands from the brick while constantly turning 360 degree. Can you figure out how did he managed .... Btw, that's the Magic Wand made by Philipe Hurbain
