Positioning of cables for R2MeToo robot

I'm having trouble snaking the cable for the R2MeToo's UltrasonicSensor through the turntable without it interfering with the gears. Is there any secret to this? Should I tape it in place with a small piece of scotch tape? Does anyone have any photos showing a good way to position this cable.

I had the same issue... I ended up using a long cable and running it exposed across the back instead of threading it through the turntable. It doesn't look as tidy, but it doesn't foul the gears or get knocked out of alignment, either.

I didn't have any problem with one cable going through the center. If you look down the middle you can see if it is hitting anything, and adjust it slightly out of the way. It gave me no problems.

Putting two cables down the middle was a little much though, so if you hook up the light sensor I would use a longer cable out the back.
