I need help installing lejos on my nxt

Yes, since the scripts on that site are outdated and won't work with leJOS 0.9.0. Don't use them!

However, here's good news: leJOS 0.9.0 should work on Snow Leopard without any 3rd party files, like those files from that website.

Wow, thanks so much! It works! I dont have the nxt plugged in so it for now doesn't see anything but I am going to flash nxj on it right away! Thank you so much!

well one more problem now, I tried to flash it but now it is doing a small buzz every second, the computer sees it as a modem though? When I unplug the usb and plug it back in it says that it has found a usb modem?

Please help, I dont want to brick my nxt.

This is normal, and your NXT is not bricked. However, I never used OS X and I can't help you. I hope somebody else who's familiar with OS X can help you.

Ok, well thanks anyways, and as the official "Getting Started on OSX", it says that it will happen but the computer will recognize it, over here it doesnt?

You don't have the mindstorms drivers installed correctly. Either that or the "patch" broke it, which I doubt it. I'm assuming you installed the mindstorms software. Go to "tools" and then update firmware. Update the firmware so it has a lego firmware. This also tells you that your driver is working. Then try nxjflash again.

The computer doesnt recognize it and so doesnt the stock nxt software.

Then it's definitely the driver. Reinstall the mindstorms software, and then install the patch and try again. I could give you more intricate details, but I'd rather not because it's a bit more complicated.
