I just got hold of the book Maximum NXT. I have executed libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.12.1.exe. While downloading NXT firmware lejos_nxt.bin using lejosdl command I am getting this message:
VM file size is 26832
Error opening Java file: File open/handling error
This is the syntax I used that prompted this error:
lejosdl lejos_nxt.bin
Please help!!

You need to run lejoslink after lejosjc and before lejosdl.
The DOS commands should look like (accessed from another part of the forum):
1. lejosjc MyCode.java
2. lejoslink -o MyCode.bin MyCode
3. lejosdl MyCode.bin
