Installation of leJOS

Hey guys.
I`m newbie in leJOS (also in Linux)and I want to install leJOS by myself.
I use Linux platform - Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
I researched and find some useful links (http://code.google.com/p/lego-mindstorm ... SetupLeJOS), but I got a problem.
After creating lego group by

sudo groupadd lego

I used command

sudo gpasswd -a <user> lego

but I got an error somethig like <user> is not recognized.
Could you help me?
I don`t understand what is going on

You should replace <user> with your username.

You mean a username of computer?

I quess with username you have logged in your Linux!

Yes, the username of the user that should use lejos.

Open a terminal window. Execute the "id" command. It will tell you your uid (i.e. the username).
