Well, I thought everything was going well, I had the firmware installed, I uploaded HelloWorld.nxj but when I typed

nxjc R2MeToo

I got the following error:

'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Everything else works fine except 'nxjc', something weird is going on.

Have you properly set your JAVA_HOME classpath?

Yes, I have. It is set to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06
I also have the bin set correctly in the Path variable.

I am using Windows XP Sp2

Someone correct me if i'm wrong here, but the jre doesn't have javac. For that you need the jdk.

That's correct, you need the JDK. Right here, top of the list:
