readLine is deprecated

Hi,

I am using the method readLine() to read a string sent over bluetooth from another NXT. Whilst the lejos and other online examples are using the command readLine for this scope, it was noticed that this method is deprecated. In view of this would you kindly advise what method I should be using. Is there an example that I can follow?

Are you talking about the DataInputStream.readLine method?
See the offical JDK documentation for why having and using that method was a bad in the first place:
