PC to NXT comms via bluetooth

Hi,
I would like some advice on the best way to write the PC side of a set of programs that will communicate via bluetooth. Are there any samples of this (I've not been able to find this combination). Can it be done using the iCommand classes or is the best way to do some something similar to the NXJbrowse program (which is what I've been looking at). Basically I want to be able to report status and mapping information back from the nxt as it moves around...

Hi Andy,
Take a look at DataViewer and Connector in PCTools.
The full path is lejos_nxj\src\java\pctools\lejos\pc\tools

Thanks Roger. I have some test code working now... By the way is there any reason for the one byte at a time messaging used by the current bluetooth code? I've removed the restriction in my version of the pccomms lib (I'm using the lower level calls on the NXT side of things), so far so good!

Not that I know of. Perhaps the next release will send longer messages.

I tried your sample codes in my Eclipse enviroment but the program fails
Here is the output.

search for NXT
BlueCove version 2.0.0 on widcomm
Found: NXT
Connecting to NXT 00165300259a
Open of NXT failed
Failed to open NXT 00165300259a
BlueCove stack shutdown completed

I have bluetooth dongle on MY PC and it manually manages to make a connection.
Any idea(s) would be great.
