Units for TachoNavigator

what are the units for tachonavigator, is it centimeters? can i change the units? (IE from cm to inches?)

The Tacho Navigator uses the units of the wheel diameter that you supply to the constructor. It calculates distance moved as the tacho count, converted to radians, times the wheel diameter. (How else?)

If you use centimeters in the constructor it will output centimeters. If you use inches it will output inches.

how does it know what the wheel diameter units are in? How does it tell the difference between 2inches and 2cm?

it doesn't. It just knows you put in two "x" units as the diameter. That means that each full wheel rotation is 2[pi] x units. Thus it doesn't matter to the program what the units are.
