Bluetooth FriendlyName

Hello,

I'm actually trying to change the Bluetooth name of my NXT brick.
I tried the Bluetooth.setFriendlyName() method at the begining of my program without succes. The brick always has NXT as name.

Can somebody tell me how to do this please.

Maybe you need to call Bluetooth.btSetCmdMode(1) first.

Even I set Bluetooth on at first, the name doesn't change.

Here is a small part of my code...

private static final byte[] name = new byte[16];

name[0] = 'N';
name[1] = 'X';
name[2] = 'T';
name[3] = '1';
Bluetooth.setStatus((byte) 1);// Make bluetooth active
Bluetooth.setFriendlyName(name);

The easy to change the BT friendly name is to use nxjbrowse, in lejos_ncj.com\bin.
