This is where you talk about the NXJ software itself, installation issues, and programming talk.

FunkNXT - a remote control app for mobile phones

Postby cybernesto » Sat Jan 26, 2008 12:11 pm

Hello everyone,

First I want to say that java and leJOS rock! Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to make this all possible.
As a small contribution to the community I just released a mobile app to control NXT robots using bluetooth. You can download it from
http://funknxt.homepage.t-online.de

I have only tested this app on the emulator and on a Nokia 6111 but the code is generic enough to work on most MIDP phones. I would be happy to know in which phones have you tested this app, and if there were any issues to keep a list of compatible phones.
Have Fun!

Mario

Does it work with LEJOS Firmware or only original LEGO?

As soon as I get to it, I'll post the sources at sourceforge.
I haven't tested this program on a 6120c but it works on many Nokia phones. Have you tried just transferring the .jar file to your phone and running it?
I read that the program installer on the pc doesn't like the .jar file. Maybe because it's not signed. On many phones it works ok. Let me know if it works.
