DMX512

Postby rodwheeler » Tue Oct 16, 2007 7:00 pm

Brian, in your book you mention that port 4 supports EIA-485. I am hoping to use this to drive a standard DMX512 system in a Theatre lighting environment -can you give me any more info on how to address this output through lejos?

Thanks

Rod

We haven't programmed support for this in leJOS NXJ yet. I haven't seen any sensor that supports this functionality yet, so there isn't a big demand at the moment. It might be something we add in the future though.

BTW Port 4 doesn't even have regular I2C support yet. That's a bug with leJOS NXT.
