Lejos makes NXT 'buzz'

Hey,

I have this weird 'problem'... Since I've flashed my brick with Lejos it makes a soft periodic sound alternating between a buzz and a high-pitched sound every half second or so when its on. Its really soft, and you can only hear it when you are close to the device, but I'm sure it wasn't there before. Other than that it functions properly... so

Any idea what this might be? Is it the speaker or maybe the battery monitor?

I've got exactly the same.
I think that brick is still in "update firmware mode", but I don't know how to switch it off.

If you have bluetooth enabled, try turning off "visibility". I found that my NXT made a buzzing sound when visibility was enabled.

Sometimes I just remove the batteries for awhile to reset the NXT.

Yes, that soft pulsing sound happens with me and everyone else as far as I can tell. I don't think we've isolated where that sound is originating yet. That's one of the things we'd like to improve to perfect NXJ.

The buzzing from my experience seems to come when the bluetooth is searching ,

when running two nxts and connecting one to the other,

it starts buzzing when searching for the other nxt once connected they are ok
