using sensor values on pc

hey there,

i want to have a little image on the screen of my computer that moves when i move the nxt gyroscope now my problem is i don't know how/if you can use the values that the sensors have in a pc program like how do you send them over i would like to use the usb cable but i don't know if you could use bluetooth or something i hope you guys can help me

well, have a look at the tutorial http://lejos.sourceforge.net/nxt/nxj/tutorial/Communications/Communications.htm you have to write the sensor data in a DataOutputStream and open a DataInputStream on the Pc, through this stream you can write data from your Nxt to your Pc
