NO pc window

When I run a pc java application program the first time a window showed up on the pc screen. But did not seem to have an affect on the program.
I had to shut off the NXT brick to stop the program.

I tried downloading a program again, and no pc window has showed up on the pc screen..

Where does on set the pc java application window?

It's probably an error in your PC program. Show us the source code.

Your program doesn't open any windows. I just outputs something on the console.
