Communication using NXTBee

Postby arielephrat » Wed Oct 24, 2012 3:41 pm

Has anybody here had any success communicating between 2 NXTs using Dexter's NXTBee? I've been trying to use Mark Crosbie's NXTBee class, along with his sample programs, but nothing seems to be working. The "power" light turns on, but the "receiving" LED never does, even when one is supposedly sending and the other supposedly receiving.
Is there some sort of configuration or initialization that needs to be done?

Thanks

Are you sure, that the second NXTBee actually listenes to what the first NXTBee is sending? I assume, that NXTBee would have to paired with each other somehow. Even though Mark Cosbie's driver does not support anything of that kind. Are the two NXTBees listening/sending on the same channel?
Also, what the hell happens, if more than 2 NXTBees on the same channel are in range of each other?
