The exception is thrown by the startup menu. The reason is the name of your NXT. It must contain non-ASCII characters. If you can, use leJOS 0.9.0 to change the name of your NXT to something plain ASCII. Then try the upgrade to 0.9.1 again. Also, I've fixed the bug in SVN.
