trouble with icontrol for osx

I've been trying to get icommand working on my mac and it isn't working. The <> doesn't show up on the nxt. So, I went to

"3.4 If the program just hangs when you send a command, and you don't see the <> on the NXT LCD, you probably chose the wrong COM number. Stop your program, turn off/on your NXT and go back to 2.3 and try another."

I went through 2.3 and did everything exactly as it says. Any ideas?

Anyone here with Mac OS X know how to identify the available com ports?

I found this which made it work for me:

The step that the icommand docs leave out is the pair for security option.

YES. Thank you so much. IT's alive!!! The only thing the lejos readme is missing is this line "A serial port (rs232-connection) should allready be setup. Mark require paring for security and click apply" I did that and it worked. I may have also had the com ports labeled wrong in icommand.properties also.

Our final project will be a success!
