Lejos in Ubuntu

my problem is that i can't understand the installation

of lejos in ubuntu

i mean about the Unix install Notes

this two points

Set RCXTTY to the IR serial port (e.g. /dev/ttyS0).
Add the bin directory of leJOS to your PATH setting.

i don't understand what thing really i have to do

edit your .profile add something like below. you may have to give your self rights to the serial port or just run it at root.

export RCXTTY= /dev/ttyS0
/home/mike/lejos_rcx/bin:$PATH
