LibUSB problems and NXT not found error with lejosdl

Hi all,

I've been getting the error (using winxp)

NXT not found. Is it properly plugged in via USB?

when trying to upload to the NXT while it is on and in update mode (audibly ticking). I notice that when I check the libusb test program that it shows my logitech mouse but not the NXT. If I disconnect the mouse it detects the disconnection...it doesn't do the same for the NXT...

I suppose this is the reason for the error above? How can I solve this?

I've noticed that this question has been asked by a few other folks. Has anyone tried uploading the *.bin file to the NXT using the Lego Mindstorms GUI tool?

I thought this might work, but it didn't...after renaming the Tune.bin to Tune.rfw and uploading, it did say everything was complete...but the brick didn't respond or play any sounds or anything.

Any other ideas? My next attempt will be to reinstall the libUSB.

Ok, it looks like I installed the wrong version of libusb...should be the filter driver...
